Favorite Indies

Last night I decided to make a couple end of year posts on who my favorite indie makers are and my favorite indie polishes. I was going to do top 5, and I started making my list. Which then grew to 10, then 15, and I just couldn't narrow it down. There are so many great indie makers out there, and as I have had even the briefest conversations with quite a few of them, I see them as the people behind the brand and that made it so much harder to stick to a top 5. So what I decided to do was list my favorite polish from each brand that I own (and for some tell what my favorite collection was if I have one). I am not putting these in any order other than simply by how many of their polishes I own. I am breaking this down into 8 brands over 4 different posts, for the next 4 days. As I only got into collecting polish really early this year, and indies not long after, these have all been purchased this year even if they were released before that. So lets see what indies I have shall we?

First up I have Shimmer Polish. I only have 2 of these polishes, but they both have my name so how could I not get them??

It was really hard to choose between the 2 for a favorite, but in the end, Jenny won. Here is Jenny, 1 coat over Color Club Lavendarling, 2 coats.

Next up I have 3 brands that I own 3 of each.

Enkelini, with Cottage Garden being my favorite. This is 2 coats over 2 coats of Nubar Earthen. I had to have this one the minute I saw it.

Then we have CrowsToes, and I chose Wonder Woman. This is 2 coats over 3 coats of Zoya Pippa. I used to have Wonder Woman pjs as a kid, and this would have looked perfect with them!

And the third that I have 3 polishes for, Pretty Serious. These 3 were actually a Christmas gift from one of my best friends. I chose Emma Louise as my favorite. This is 3 coats.

 

The next 4 I have 5 polishes each.

First is Candeo. I chose Jellybean as my favorite, which is a little surprising since yellow is my least favorite polish color! Recently though I am starting to like yellow, and this is such a pretty one with the mix of glitter. This is 3 coats.

Next is Smitten Polish. I chose Wicked, Tricksy, False! I just love this name, and the polish is just as great! This is 3 coats.

Nostalgic Lacquer is next, and Date At Midnight With Nosferatu. I love vampire movies, all the way back to the silent ones so this is great! This is 3 coats.

And lastly for this post, I have the newest indie maker I own, Silly Bees Chickadees. I have to say, these have the cutest bottles and labels! I love them. I chose Orange You A Honeydew as my favorite, and this is 2 coats over 2 coats of Zoya Pippa.
