New Anne Kathleen collection

*Press Sample Provided For Honest Review*

Today I have for you the new collection from Anne Kathleen that released today! It consists of 5 fun silver glitter toppers and is called Snowfall In Silver. Lets see them shall we!

First up is Silvana, a linear silver holographic polish with different size silver holographic star glitters and small silver holographic hex glitter. I used 1 coat over Orly Gumdrop, and it went on easily. I didn't have to fish for the stars, they came out on their own.

Next is Silvia, a linear silver holographic polish with holographic bar glitter. I'm not usually a big fan of bar glitter, but there is something mesmerizing about the way the holo makes this look that I love. I used 1 coat over Nubar Honeysuckle and again it applied easily.

This is Silver, a linear silver holographic polish with different size silver holographic hex glitters. I used 1 coat over Zoya Paz. Easy application, lots of glitter with just one coat.

Sylvan is a linear silver holographic polish with different size square holographic glitters. I used 1 coat over OPI Dating a Royal. I did have a slight issue getting a lot of the square glitters to come out, but it applied well other than that.

Last is Silvestra, a linear silver holographic polish with different size silver holographic hex glitters. I used 1 coat over China Glaze Mediterranean Charm. This is similar to Silver with the hex glitters in both, but still different because of the sizes used. This applied easily as well.

So there you have the newest collection from Anne Kathleen! I think there is something here for anybody looking for a silver holo glitter topper, there is enough variety in the shapes. These released today, so they are available now for purchase. Keep up to date with Anne Kathleen at any of the links below!

Lac Attack Magical Musings Collection, part 1

Happy Tuesday! Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend, and those that had yesterday off enjoyed it as well. I spent the day at the Harry Potter Studio tour, so it was a pretty amazing day for me! I loved it, and would gladly go back to see it all again. I had this big plan to start posting this collection one polish each day ending yesterday with what I wore, but I completely failed at that lol. So instead I will post it now, but a couple of my pictures came out super horribly so I will redo those and post a part 2 soon! I do have 7 of the 10 for you today. Lets get started.

Undies post!

Don't let the title scare you, todays post is a spam of some of the undies I have used under glitters that never got posted. Some of these colors I probably wouldn't wear very often by themselves, but they work great as undies.

First up I have a classic black, Sally Hansen Black Out. This was 2 coats, went on easily and was almost a 1 coater for me. Black isn't a color I can pull off alone, but I loved this under Floam when I wore it!

Nubar Blue Hydrangea is one I have used a couple of times as a base. I used it over Shimmer Jennifer and the yet unposted Naild It Dragon Scales. This is 2 coats, easy application.

Another Nubar I like as undies is Earthen. In fact, the whole Spring Flowers collection (or whatever it was called) are some of my go tos for undies. I don't really like the nude look, so I wouldn't wear this alone, but I love it for undies. This was 2 coats, but almost another 1 coater, and I've worn this over the posted Enkelini Cottage Garden.

China Glaze Gothic Lolita is a great purple. This shows 2 coats, and this I would wear on its own. I love purple. I used this one under Once Upon a Polish Ursula, which is still unposted.

Last for today I have OPI Pink Friday. I like pink, but I'm not too sure if this is one I would wear alone. Might have to wear it again to really decide. I've used this one over the (again) yet unposted Naild It Summer Lovin Melon, and I loved it. I did have to use 3 coats for it, it was still a little streaky after 2.

So there you go, some undes I have worn swatching indies, helping to clear out my unposted folder!

indie spam

Happy Friday! Sorry for not posting, with going back to work I have had trouble getting my schedule back. So since I don't really have any kind of post planned I decided to write up a spam post of some indies I have swatched but not gotten around to posting. I have a folder of over 100 pictures of different swatches that I need to get to, so expect more posts like this!

Pictures behind the cut :)

Favorite Indies, part 4

Happy New Years Eve everyone! I hope you all have a fun and safe evening, we are staying home and not doing much of anything. My daughter is 7 and thinks it is the coolest thing ever to stay up til midnight :). No matter how bad or good your 2012 was, I wish for everyone to have a 2013 that is a million times better.

Lets move right on to those indie brands that I own the most of!

Favorite Indies

Last night I decided to make a couple end of year posts on who my favorite indie makers are and my favorite indie polishes. I was going to do top 5, and I started making my list. Which then grew to 10, then 15, and I just couldn't narrow it down. There are so many great indie makers out there, and as I have had even the briefest conversations with quite a few of them, I see them as the people behind the brand and that made it so much harder to stick to a top 5. So what I decided to do was list my favorite polish from each brand that I own (and for some tell what my favorite collection was if I have one). I am not putting these in any order other than simply by how many of their polishes I own. I am breaking this down into 8 brands over 4 different posts, for the next 4 days. As I only got into collecting polish really early this year, and indies not long after, these have all been purchased this year even if they were released before that. So lets see what indies I have shall we?

N is for No More

Happy Tuesday! I can't wait for this week to be over, then I'm off for 2 weeks! I have big plans to do lots of swatching and nail art, but we shall see how much I actually get done! I am cutting this one pretty close, as tomorrow starts posting for O, but I have N today. No More by Different Dimension is a polish with a cause, it was a limited edition to support National Domestic Violence Month in October. 50% of the proceeds went to a shelter to help women get out of bad situations. Very good cause, sadly this is no longer available for purchase. This is a purple glitterbomb, and I love purple! I layered 1 coat over 3 coats of Ciate Purple Sherbert. Great glitter coverage, and I can't believe this is the first time I am posting one of Different Dimensions polishes! I am sort of obsessed with everything she makes, and I think I probably own 90% of her store lol. So you will definitely be seeing a lot more from her in the future!

Check out the other ladies, and hopefully I can keep to my plans for my break, cause I am excited about some things I have planned!

Chrono Cross collection (almost) by Rainbow Honey

I am going to try to get this post done and posted before I have to leave for work. Today I have for you almost the complete Chrono Cross collection by Rainbow Honey. When I ordered this Lunairetic wasn't for sale as it was being reformulated. Well, Rainbow Honey will be restocking the Chrono Cross collection on September 22nd! It looks like Lunairetic will be included, so you better believe I will be snapping it up! Gotta complete my RH collection :). Below the cut I have pictures of the 5 other colors, along with what I layered them over.

Naild'it Candy Corn

Happy Friday! Hope everyone had a good week. It has decided to get hot here again, which I hope wont last too long since I am ready for fall! I love fall, its my favorite season.

Today I have for you Naild'it Candy Corn. This is an amazing fall color based off my favorite candy, which I am eating a few of right now! I forget which blog I saw this on first, but I was desperate to own it after I knew it existed! I"m so happy to have it, it did not disappoint! I look forward to wearing this a lot this fall.

Here is 2 coats of Candy Corn over 3 coats Nubar White Peony. Formula was great, lots of glitter comes out on the brush. I do think I will use a different base color when I wear this as a full mani, this one is a little too light I think, kind of hid the white glitter. Still, I am in love with this polish, and I am so glad I finally got it, plus 4 others, with another 5 on their way :). Candy Corn is a clear base with gold, orange, yellow, white and black glitters in different shapes and sizes.

And here is White Peony on its own. Being a white, it was a little streaky and patchy going on, so I had to do 3 coats to get it even. But it isn't like a pure white so I think it looks a little better on my than I originally thought. But I will probably always layer over it.

Naild'it can be purchased at her Etsy shop HERE. She is closed right now, but you can like her FB page for updates HERE

Rainbow Honey A Little Kindness

Today I have for you an indie polish from Rainbow Honey based on the My Little Pony series. As I said in my haul post when I got this, as soon as I found out about this collection I had to have it. A Little Kindness is Fluttershy in a bottle, and I love it. For this mani I layered 2 coats of A Little Kindness over 3 coats of Nubar Yellow Primrose. I really love the way the combo came out! Funny story, the night before I did this I actually had a dream about doing this combo and when I checked my swatch sticks next to each other in the morning I knew I had to do it. Lets get on to the pictures shall we?

First I have a shot of the 3 coats of Nubar Yellow Primrose alone. I am not a fan of yellow, but this is such a pale delicate color I kinda like it.

Nubar Honeysuckle

Today I have the second mani I did last weekend that I just realized was still on my camera when I went to post this weekends mani! That will have to wait for a day or so now. I decided (with some help) to use a Nubar for the first time, and we settled on Honeysuckle. I am very impressed by Nubar so far. Formula was wonderful and I only needed 2 coats. Next time if I'm more careful I might even be able to do 1 coat! Pink is probably only number 5 on my list of favorite polish shades, but this pink is amazing. So bright and cheery, perfect for sunny summer days. The first picture is in the shade, the second in the sun.
