Model City Holobration!

Today is a special day for Nina of Model City Polish, its her one year anniversary! To celebrate this occasion, Nina has created a VERY limited edition polish and has asked a few bloggers to take part in the party. The polish she has created is called Holobration! and its a beauty! There are a total of 14 bottles of this polish. But not only did she create this polish to celebrate, but has also generously offered up a bottle to my readers for a giveaway! Here is a sneak peek at the prize one lucky winner will receive, click the read more to see more pictures and to enter to win.

Holobration! is a very limited edition polish, and each one is numbered. As you can see in the picture the prize pack is still all snugly packed as Nina sent it, and what is in front is my pack. The winner of the giveaway will win their own unopened bottle of Holobration! (which I believe is number 4!), a hand made hair tie in black, and a small purse sized glass nail file. I love this file, I am always breaking nails and this is perfect to stick in my purse to fix those breaks and tears before they get worse. Now, lets see the polish!

I'll be completely honest here. I was stumped for what to layer this polish over, because it seems that the combination of colors in it would look good over almost anything. So, my husband chose for me! The polishes he chose are Orly Beach Cruiser (index), Orly Skinny Dip (middle), China Glaze Splish Splash (ring), and Models Own Pukka Purple (pinkie). The Orlys are each 3 coats, China Glaze is 2, and Models Own is only 1 coat!

Holobration! is a clear base with large blue circle holo glitter, pink and purple square holo glitters, orange hex holo glitter and tiny little holo bar glitters. It is packed with glitter, I had no trouble getting the smaller glitters on the brush, and after turning the bottle upside down for a few seconds to bring down the circle glitters, they came out easily as well. The pictures show 2 coats. I did just a normal brush on coat, no dabbing required, though I did place the circles where I wanted them.

So there you have Holobration!. Stay tuned this weekend because I will have a review of 3 new Model City colors. But, they are being restocked tonight, with the first 100 orders receiving special prizes! The restock will take place at 8pm EST today, with a restock happening asap if everything sells out quickly! You can purchase Model City polish on Ninas etsy site HERE.
