Orly Fired Up collection for fall

Today I have the Orly Fired Up collection, new for fall. I'm surprised by how much I like this collection, there were a couple I was sure I wouldn't like very much, but once they were on I changed my mind. I'm starting to learn that I can like almost any color of polish, even colors I don't normally like. I can't really say if any of these colors are completely original or if there are dupes out there for them, but in my stash I have nothing like them. I know its only August, but I am ready for fall and Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas! Fall is my favorite season, so I was excited to see the deeper colors come out for nail polish. For all but one color the formula was great, not too thick and went on easily, so I will say that up here. Here are the bottles for this collection:

Glow, Flare, Rapture, Ignite, Smolder and Flicker
The rest of the pics I will put under the cut!

First up we have Glow. This is one I thought I wouldn't like because I don't do nude shades. I was wrong. I'm not sure I would wear this often on its own, but I can see this working well under glitters. It looks like a buff foundation type shade (I suck at descriptions!) and is a very good understated color. Orly calls it a Taupe Creme. I used 3 coats here, but that was mostly do to my error at messing up a couple nails. It was perfectly opaque at 2 coats, so the 3rd wouldn't be necessary normally without my mess up.

Next is Flare. Flare is a gold shimmer, and I used 3 coats here as well, mostly to try and bring out more depth. It was opaque at 2 coats, but I seemed to notice more shimmer at 3. For a lighter gold 2 would be fine.

Then comes Rapture, the other shade I was sure I wouldn't like. Rapture is a deep chocolate brown. Like nudes, I don't do browns, especially brown cremes. But there is something so deep and rich looking about this one, I like it! Brings up thoughts of cuddling under blankets with some rich hot chocolate, which I love to do! This is 2 coats, if you do thicker coats you might even be able to get away with 1. It does dry darker than the bottle, as you can see.

Now we get to the one I mentioned up top that wasn't the same formula wise as the rest. Ignite is a red creme, but it is a lot thinner than the rest. Still easy to work with, but being thinner I used 3 coats here, and you can still see nail line, so at least 4 would be best or some underwear. This is a pretty red, but it strikes me as probably being the least unique shade of the bunch, and possibly easily dupeable, but I don't have a ton of reds so I think its unique to me.

And now we get to the 2 I knew I would love, and I was right this time! First is Smolder, what Orly calls a deep wine shimmer, and it is pretty! It glows in the light. This will probably be a favorite for fall. I used 2 coats here.

And finally we have Flicker. Orly calls this one a rust duochrome shimmer. Like Smolder this one is a favorite, and I will wear it a lot. I used 2 coats here. I would never have thought something described as rust would be so pretty!!

So there is Orlys fall collection. Which one is your favorite? Will you be picking any of these up?
