Chrono Cross collection (almost) by Rainbow Honey

I am going to try to get this post done and posted before I have to leave for work. Today I have for you almost the complete Chrono Cross collection by Rainbow Honey. When I ordered this Lunairetic wasn't for sale as it was being reformulated. Well, Rainbow Honey will be restocking the Chrono Cross collection on September 22nd! It looks like Lunairetic will be included, so you better believe I will be snapping it up! Gotta complete my RH collection :). Below the cut I have pictures of the 5 other colors, along with what I layered them over.

I will talk about the formula up here, since it is pretty much the same for all. Being chock full of glitter, they are on the thick side, but I had no issues getting glitter on the brush or on the nail. They all went on smoothly, with no need for glitter placement. I didn't use top coat on any of these, so you can see how they look as they go on. To wear as a full mani, top coat would be necessary to smooth out the glitters. On to the pics!

First up is Snake Eyes. It is a seafoam green base with seafoam hex glitter with purple, gold, and dark blues and greens glitters. Really pretty, this is 3 coats on its own. As you can see, kinda bumpy, but with top coat it will be smooth and shiny!

Next I have Siren Song. Siren Song is an aqua blue base with various sizes of hex glitter in gold, aqua and holographic blue, dark blues, dark greens, and microfine blue bars. Please ignore my ring finger, I was stupid and bumped my finger as I was taking pictures. That bumpiness in no way is the fault of the polish! This one really reminds me of mermaids, super pretty! This is also 3 coats on its own.

Frozen Flame is next. This one is not one for you if you don't like bar glitter! I do like it, so I like this. It is a clear base with gold and silver holographic bar glitter and orange, bright blue, and a really cool color shifting blue glitters. I used 2 coats of Frozen Flame over 3 coats of Maybelline Color Show Orange Fix, a lovely orange shade.

Next is 1 coats of Unstealable Jewel over 3 coats of Nubar Pink Lily. Unstealable Jewel is a clear base with different size and shape pink glitters, with silver diamond glitters. This combination looks so delicate, I love it!

And last we have my favorite! The God of Destiny. It is a clear base with black, chrome, gold, and holographic glitters in various sizes. This can be worn on its own if you like, but I layered 1 coat over 2 coats of Essie Go Overboard. Love, love, love!

I am always so happy and impressed with Rainbow Honey polishes. Be sure to get your favorites from her shop when she stocks these on September 22nd! You can find it here, and find her on FB here for updates!

Whew, just made it. Off to work! I have my first challenge starting tomorrow, which I haven't done yet lol. But be on the lookout fr that post tomorrow!

  3. These glitter polishes are a little bit too much for me but I am loving this Essie overboard color! Lol. I do love glitter and flakies but I feel like some of the glitter polishes that are coming out are a bit too busy looking on the nails. Too much going on but that's just my personal preference. Thanks for sharing! =]
