2 Megan Miller polishes

I am so glad its Friday! I've had a bit of trouble getting back into my normal working routine, but I think its getting better. Things might be a bit quiet around here for the next few days as I catch up on things I let slide a bit the last couple weeks, but starting next Wednesday I will be starting the first of 2 challenges I am taking part in! So you can count on me at least posting every Wednesday for the foreseeable future. And then in October the second challenge starts, which I believe is posted on Saturdays. So with 2 scheduled posts a week, I should be able to post at least a couple more times a week with some of the swatches I have already done that are just waiting to be posted. Kind of like todays post!

So today I have for you 2 Megan Miller colors: Caribbean and Coral Bliss. I have to admit, I think these bottles are just about the cutest I have seen, and that may have played a little part in me getting these. The sale I took advantage of helped as well lol. I picked only 2 colors because the rest just didn't appeal to me at all.

Formula for both polishes was the same, they are jellies so they are sheer, and they were on the thin side as well. Thinner than I prefer, they were kind of hard to control since they wanted to run a tiny bit.

First up is Caribbean, and as the name suggests, it is a nice blue, and it does remind me of the Caribbean waters. Very pretty color, but it took 4 coats to get it to look like this. Some visible nail line, so to be totally opaque I would need at least 1 more coat or to layer this over another polish.

The other color I chose, and the one that was on sale, is Coral Bliss. This one was slightly better, only took 3 coats to get like this. It is a nice coral color, hence the name, and I love this one. It looks a bit more red in the picture than it was in person, but not by much. Very summery! You can still see nail line, but on this one it wasn't as noticeable in person. Could probably still use that 4th coat though to be safe.

  1. The bottles are adorable! I'd say these would make amazing jelly sandwiches.

    1. I haven't done a jelly sandwich yet, but I think you are right and I might just use one of these for my first!

  2. Found you through the #bbloggers blog hop. Now following because I love your sweet blog design, but particularly your very clear pictures. I saw some Megan Miller polishes a while back but decided I couldn't afford them and sort of forgot. I am so glad I read your post and have been reminded! The aqua blue is beautiful, but it would do my head in being so sheer. Unless, as Cuti-CLUE-less says, they were used for a jelly sandwich! x

  3. Hi, following you through the #bbloggers blog hop! I love the colour of the Caribbean one, but having to do 4+ coats would drive me insane! I agree with the others that it would be an ideal jelly sandwich polish though! x

    1. I am now following you on both your blogs, I am going to be a leader for my daughters Daisy troop this year so I'm excited to read your blog on girlguiding! We are Girl Scouts, not sure there is to much of a difference though, especially since we live in England with the military

I love getting comments, and I read every single one, even if I don't reply to them all. But I do my best! Thanks for reading and commenting!
