Model City review

Is everyone having a good weekend? Mine has been pretty lazy, which is always good! I have 8 1/2 days left of work and then school's out for the summer!! I'm so excited. Especially since my CNS nails should be here tomorrow, then I just have to wait until next Thursday and I can put them on :).

Today I have for you a review of 3 Model City polishes. When Nina sent out the package with the giveaway polishes, she also included these three for review. I am wearing the impress stick on nails again, but with my CNS almost here I plan on doing lots of swatching with them!

On to the pictures!

First up I have Sugar Coat It. This is a clear base with tiny iridescent glitters. It is beautiful, this is 2 coats over 2 coats of Models Own Pukka Purple. One coat provided plenty of coverage, but I loved it and wanted more glitter! Formula was good, went on easily and dried quickly. First picture is in the sun, second is in shade.

Next up is Orange Sherbet. This is an orange base with red, white and yellow matte hex glitters. I used 2 coats over 2 coats of Zoya Arizona. Again I could have probably just used 1 coat, but I wanted more glitter. Went on well and the glitter came out easily. First picture is in the sun, second in the shade.

Last up is my favorite of the 3, Fairy Fight! My daughter loved this one as well, especially when I told her it was based off the fairies fighting over Sleeping Beautys dress (I always wanted pink to win, blue is for Cinderella! lol). This is a light purple base with blue and pink shards. I used 2 coats over 2 coats of Essie Lilacism. This one had the best formula of the 3. It just glided on the nail flawlessly. Again, first pic sun, second shade.

I love these polishes, unfortunately the restock for these was at 1 am for me so I was asleep :(. By the time I got up and went to buy them, Fairy Fight was sold out, so I am patiently waiting for Nina to restock again so they can be mine!! If you would like to buy Model City polishes, head on over to her Etsy shop HERE and check them all out! I'm looking to get these 3 and maybe a couple more as long as they are still in stock when Fairy Fight is relisted.

*Polishes were provided free of charge for review purposes. All opinions are honest and my own*

  1. I'm ashamed to admit that I've had Sugar Coat It for a while and haven't used it. Thanks for reminding me!

I love getting comments, and I read every single one, even if I don't reply to them all. But I do my best! Thanks for reading and commenting!
